Green Party Candidate
for Mayor of St. Paul

Vote Your First Choice Without Helping Your Last!

It's time for a primer on the "spoiler" issue…

•

Only the top two vote-getters — regardless of party — in the September 13th primary go on to the general election in November. If Randy Kelly is one of those top two vote-getters, he will either face Elizabeth Dickinson OR Chris Coleman in November. Since only two candidates run against each other in the November election, no primary election candidate can "spoil" the chances of defeating another candidate in the general election.

•

Elizabeth Dickinson does not support a write-in effort if she is not included on the November ballot.

Elizabeth Dickinson will defeat Randy Kelly in November!

•

A November run-off between Dickinson and Kelly will draw significant local and national attention for two main reasons. First, Dickinson's run to become the first woman mayor of St. Paul in 151 years is historically significant. Second, a Dickinson mayoral candidacy has already reinvigorated a long-repressed desire to elect a St. Paul mayor who will create a St. Paul that is better for regular citizens. Citizens who might not ordinarily feel invested in a mayoral race are energized and engaged because of Elizabeth Dickinson.

•

In the general election, Elizabeth Dickinson's candidacy will be propelled by the momentum, drive, and excitement of citizens who champion a truly different vision of St. Paul; such a campaign attracts the dedicated grassroots citizen activists and organizers who will storm St. Paul with the time, energy, money, and enthusiasm necessary to beat Randy Kelly in November.

•

St. Paul needs a candidate whose vision of St. Paul is truly different than Randy Kelly's. Elizabeth Dickinson walks her talk; her policy positions are consistent with her record. With Elizabeth Dickinson on the ballot in November, voters will have a real choice. Elizabeth Dickinson is the most compelling candidate to beat Randy Kelly in the November general election.

Anybody but Randy? Hey, let's kick him off the ballot entirely by voting in the primary on September 13!

Regardless of party, the top two vote-getters in the non-partisan primary on September 13 will advance to the November general election. Remember to cast your vote — and remind your St. Paul friends and neighbors to cast their votes — for Elizabeth Dickinson for Mayor of St. Paul!
