Who is Elizabeth Dickinson?

Leading founder, Clean Energy Now coalition. She envisioned and led the successful fight to get Xcel Energy to clean up its Metro coalburning plants. Saved: $1.2 billion in health costs; 15–50 Minnesota lives per year.

A "treasured neighbor" and "clear leader" on the District Councils' 2002 and 2003 St. Paul Honor Roll.

Former lobbyist, advocate, and Community Affairs Manager, MN AIDS Project.

Advocate, Police/INS Separation Ordinance, Code for Corporate Responsibility, and Livable Wage; boardmember, Clean Water Action.

Former teacher and therapist; writer; accomplished union actor (AEA, SAG, AFTRA).

B.Ed. Honours, University of Cambridge, England; M.A. Psychology, Lesley College, Massachusetts.

Married 18 years to Christopher Childs, author and former Greenpeace National Speaker; they renovated and live in a 1911 home on St. Paul's West Side.

Elizabeth Dickinson is a visionary leader and grassroots organizer who's willing to take on special interests and represent you. Here's why she wants to serve you as your Mayor:

To promote grassroots democracy through an "open door" policy at the Mayor's office, where people will be treated with respect.

To promote clean air, water, and energy through conservation and through renewable energy from wind and solar power.

To promote economic and social justice through a living wage, affordable housing, support of small business, expansion of mass transit, and a good public education for all.

•  

To support the arts and the more than 3000 full-time jobs they provide in Saint Paul.
